A Program is a grouping of related Projects. Where Groups organize your work by department, Programs organize it by initiative. A single Program might span multiple Groups – for example, an “HR Transformation” Program could include Projects owned by Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, and Learning & Development.
What you’ll see on the Programs page
Open Programs from the navigation menu to see your Programs displayed as expandable cards. Each card header shows:
- The Program name
- The number of assigned Projects
- A status summary showing how many Projects are Green, Yellow, Red, or Undefined (e.g., “G: 2 Y: 1 R: 0 U: 1”)
Click a card to expand it and see:
- The Program description
- A status description – a free-text field where you can provide context about the Program’s current state (e.g., “On track, awaiting Q2 budget approval”)
- A list of assigned Projects, each with a color-coded status indicator and a link to the Project detail page
How Programs relate to Projects
Each Project can belong to one Program. Projects are assigned to a Program when you create or edit the Project (covered in the Projects section). The status summary on each Program card is calculated automatically from the statuses of its assigned Projects.
You can use the search box to filter Programs by name, description, or status description, and sort alphabetically.
